The kid that died in Le Temple in Paris in 1795 wasn’t Louis XVII. The real son of Louis XVI and Mary-Antoinette escaped shortly before and was taken to Belgium by his Belgian governess where a peasant adopted him. Louis grew up, got married and had kids.
A few generations down along the female line, we find Couverts. He found that being the heir to the French throne was a bit too much of a hassle and decided to get into music.
