The kid that died in Le Temple in Paris in 1795 wasn’t Louis XVII. The real son of Louis XVI and Mary-Antoinette escaped shortly before and was taken to Belgium by his Belgian governess where a peasant adopted him. Louis grew up, got married and had kids.
